Jobs at Fireship
We’re hiring developers to help us make great developer content.
Our biggest need right now is people who can write about technical topics in a way that’s smart, authentic, and entertaining.
We don’t care very much about formal education or whether you’ve worked at big-name companies, but you should have real experience working as a software engineer.
You might be a good fit if you:
- Have a solid technical foundation across a wide range of topics in programming, tech, and AI (mile-wide, inch-deep)
- Have deep knowledge in a few specific areas (inch-wide, mile-deep)
- Can write clearly and tell interesting technical stories with a strong narrative
- Learn quickly and enjoy digging into new tools and technologies
- Are terminally online and understand developer culture too much for your own good
- Have written good technical content before (blog posts, newsletters, YouTube, etc.)
- Can spin up creative demos and tools to teach concepts and illustrate ideas
- Are keeping up with most new AI tools and have good instincts for what’s genuinely interesting vs just hype
- Are obsessed with getting all of the details right on every project
- Have a cursed sense of humor
